Wyndham City Council
Wayfinding Community Mural Trail
In collaborated with MAMAM we created a series of 5 ground murals, alongside benches and planter boxes, as part of a community-driven project commissioned by Wyndham City Council. The installation serves as both wayfinding and beautiful artwork, highlighting local landmarks and activities in the area.
The community was actively involved, contributing to the project and gaining a sense of pride and ownership in their neighbourhood.
The collaboration resulted in a successful community-driven initiative, engaging locals, providing wayfinding and highlighting landmarks. The installation received positive feedback, fostering pride and ownership in the community, and was considered a great success by Wyndham City Council.
In addition to the installation, we organized community days where children and parents were invited to join local artists and participate in mural painting workshops. These events provided an opportunity for the community to learn about street art and be part of the project, further strengthening their sense of pride and ownership in the area.
